Founded by John & Joyce Pearson over 50 years ago, the Pearsons Family were pioneers in Private Grain Storage in Southern NSW and Victoria.
Since humble beginnings, in 1962 with the Purchase of an 8mt “Commer” truck to cart vegetables and bagged wheat from Swan Hill to Melbourne, the business expanded into grain storage, seeing a need to provide a marketplace for local producers.
and today the business boasts 4 Bulk grain receival depots with over 100,000mt of capacity in sealed silo’s, sheds and bunkers at Kyalite, Koraleigh, Tooleybuc and Murray Downs, NSW. Additionally we operate, under Management, the Emerald Grain Bulk Recevial Site at Woorinen, Vic.
Our Transport Division comprises a modern fleet of self-managed (predominantly Kenworth) prime movers, carting a diverse range of bulk commodities throughout Victoria, Southern New South Wales and South Australia.
With an established Grain Trading division we provide market access for local grain growers, connecting them with both domestic stock feed and human consumption manufacturers, and with international demand from bulk and container export markets.
through the establishment of Swan Hill Stockfeeds in 1994, providing personalised and tailored services throughout North West Victoria.
Successfully managed by John & Joyce together with their children Darren & Kristie and son-in law Russell, Pearson’s now employees a team of over 30 full time staff and has established an outstanding reputation within the local community and wider grain industry as a reliable service provider, priding itself on giving our customers, both producer and consumer, the best service possible.
